TEAM joins second year of #Merky Football Careers programme

12 October 2023 – Last week, adidas and British grime artist and activist Stormzy launched the next chapter of their collaborative venture, #Merky Football Careers - a programme committed to enhancing and protecting diverse representation in the football industry.

First established in 2022, this year sees #Merky FC increase the number of off pitch roles from 15 to 50, and TEAM is proud to join 25 other sports organisations who have pledged to participate in the initiative. Each placement will provide work opportunities spanning operations and community to creative and marketing, in a bid to change the game for Black and Black mixed heritage youth.

Starting in January 2024, TEAM’s #Merky FC recruit will start a year-long placement, based in the London office. Interested candidates can visit merkyfc.com to find out more and register their interest in the placements available from 5 – 19 October 2023.
